Thousands of New Yorkers celebrated Dominican culture and music in Midtown Manhattan on Sunday August 13th, 2017 at the 35th annual Dominican Day Parade which took over the Avenue of the Americas. The crowd, which stretched from 36th to 52nd Street, waved the red, white and blue flag of the Dominican Republic and danced to the sounds of merengue, bachata and hip-hop music pumping from enormous speakers that had been hoisted onto the parada’s floats. For decades Inca Kola has been a proud sponsor of the Dominican Parade and the Dominican community which has made so many major contributions to the City of new York.
